Eating less is the easy part now. Eating enough protein is the hard part.
GLP-1 medicines quiet your appetite, so meals get smaller. When protein drops too, you can lose muscle along with fat. Most people on a jab need far more protein than they're eating.
Example target for someone aiming for 61 kg (9 st 8 lb). Work out yours.
"I'm barely hungry. How do I eat 100 g of protein?"
SnapNosh plans small meals that are protein-first, and shows which bites give you the most protein for the least food.
"I've lost weight. Am I losing muscle too?"
Every scan shows your protein against a target set from your goal weight, so you can see each day whether you got enough.
"I feel queasy the day after my jab."
A 5-second daily check-in tracks nausea, appetite and energy, and shows which day after your jab is hardest, so you can plan gentle meals for it.
"I don't know what to eat any more."
Get food ideas from your own supermarket and cuisine, sorted by protein, plus a daily meal plan sized for a small appetite.
One photo. Ten seconds. No weighing, no spreadsheets.
Snap your meal
Take a photo of your plate, at home or out. You can also type it ("cheese toastie and a latte") or scan a barcode.
See protein and calories
SnapNosh's AI recognises the food and estimates portions. You get protein, calories, carbs and fat. Tap to adjust anything.
Close the gap
See what's left for today and an easy food that fits it, like a boiled egg or a protein yogurt, before the day runs out.
Made for Mounjaro, Wegovy and Ozempic weeks, not general dieting.
Turn on GLP-1 mode and SnapNosh fits around your jab day, your appetite and how you feel.
How you feel, week by week
Log nausea, appetite and energy in one tap. SnapNosh spots patterns like "day 2 after the jab is your hardest".
Jab-day reminder
A gentle weekly nudge on the day you take your medicine, and a Home card that counts down to the next one.
Protein check on every scan
Each meal gets a clear "good protein" or a suggestion to top it up.
Small-appetite meal plans
Daily plans with smaller, protein-first meals that are gentle on your stomach.
Your foods, your units
UK and US supermarket foods, stone and pounds or kg, and "jab" or "shot", whichever you say.
How much protein do you need on a GLP-1?
Enter your weight and goal. You'll get a daily target and a sample day of ordinary food that hits it.
A general guide, not medical advice. If you have kidney disease or another health condition, ask your doctor or dietitian what's right for you.
"I first built SnapNosh for my wife, who wanted a simpler way to eat well: one photo, real numbers, no weighing scales. Now we're shaping it around people on GLP-1 medicines, because they need protein most and get the least help with food."Syed, founder of SnapNosh

Good to know
Which medicines does SnapNosh work with?
Any GLP-1 or similar medicine, including semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound), and the new generics. You pick yours in the app so reminders and tips fit it. SnapNosh doesn't give dosing advice.
Is this medical advice?
No. SnapNosh helps you track food and build habits. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything. Talk to your doctor, nurse or dietitian about your medicine and your diet.
How accurate are the photo estimates?
The AI recognises most everyday meals well, but portions from a photo are estimates. You can tap any item to correct the amount, and the numbers update straight away.
I have an iPhone. Can I use it?
Yes. Open app.snapnosh.com in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It works like an app. A full iPhone app is planned.
Can I use it if I'm not on a GLP-1?
Yes. Without GLP-1 mode, SnapNosh is a fast photo calorie and protein tracker with a plan based on your goal.
